The Union County
High School ACE Teacher Cadet Academy is committed to attracting the
best and brightest to the field of education. It is the goal of this
endeavor to provide opportunities for interested students to explore
teaching as a career while in high school settings. This program
will ideally nurture "homegrown" teachers for the Union County
schools. Goal: To promote teacher recruitment and retention through the implementation of teacher education exploratory classes. Experience: Provides students with an awareness of students' learning styles, diversity in education, student growth and development, educational history and trends, and educational structure and governance. Student Selection Requirements: Being in 9th -12th grade. Minimum G.P.A. of 2.5 Letters of recommendation Instructor- Mrs. Tammy Harrison |
